Malacca

I'm so sorry, I've been neglecting my bloggie for so long. Haven't been updating much of it for some time. Time for me to brush off some of the cog webs in this blog and post something new here. Well lets start with my trip to Malacca. yes, I just came back from Malacca. It was a company trip, 2 days 1 night. Company trip it is, but we had to pay ourselves lah, haha. Anyway my mum also came along, so it was also semi family trip (you know my condition in office). And we had a blast in Malacca. Its not so much about visiting the places of interest, and all that, but really about nice company to be around with. And we ate, and ate, and ate. Continuously for 2 days, hahaha. It was really a eating trip. We kept eating, my mouth didn't had time to stop and rest, hahaha. Did a bit of shopping, bought a shirt and a cap. It wasn't that cheap, but still not expensive (still cheaper than SG of course). We had great food, tried a sorts of authentic food from Malacca such as Chendol, Nonya food, chicken rice balls etc etc. But ironically, the I think one of the best meals was the 1st lunch we had - vegetarian! It was really good. Walking through Jonker street was also interesting, there was quite a lot to see and buy (erm, more of loads of food to buy. Not much clothing or other stuff that is suitable for me). Those that know me, will know that actually I just went to Malacca not that long ago with cy and gang, and this time it was really different. For one, Jonker street was in full operation (the last time we went on Sunday, Jonker street really only comes to life on Sat night). Another was that this time we took a bus. The last time it was by car. Not that I don't like roadtrips, but its quite tiring to be the one driving. Short distance still ok lah, but driving for 2 hrs is pretty tiring, hahaha.

Okok, tomorrow still have work, better go wash up. Toddles.
