Dear Diary

As my Japanese class comes close to an end (there's a test next week and I am totally not prepared), we had a very interesting homework this week. And that is to write a diary entry, totally in Japanese. My first reaction was,"What the fuck!" How the hell am I going to write out a paragraph of Japanese sentences. Already to just write one sentence is quite a challenge for me. But I still manged to write out an entry, filled will primary one Japanese sentences. Haha. Well big problem is that the language I used in my diary was too formal and polite. Usually people arn't that polite when writing diaries. Well I will still give myself a pat on my back and say Good Effort. Hahaha.... To share my entry with everyone, anyone who actually understands Japanese, just shut the fuck up so that those who don't know will actually think that I'm super duper zai.... muahahaha....

Haha... just to write these few sentences, took me about an hour... damn it, I'm so dead for next week's test...

Susan Boyle does it again

Remember that I blogged about this wonderful woman who came onto Britian's got talent and totally blew everyone into orgasms, spurting a mess of applause around the world. Well she's back on the 2nd round and delivered another stunning performance. This time its the song Memory from the musical Cats. But I must say that she didn't do as well this round as compared to the first, I thought she started the first few notes pretty shaky. But nonetheless, she managed to own the song as she continued on with the song. She is already through to the next round, so we will get to see more of her in the coming weeks. You go gal.

Again they have taken down the embedded link to the vid, so here's the website, just copy and paste the url into the address line.

Changes to the blog

I was browsing through the www, when I came across some blog templates. Some of them really look good. One of them is the one shown below. So I was thinking, hey why don't I change the outlook of my blog to make it more appealing. But there is one big problem. Being the bimbo me, I really have no idea how to put the template here. Remember that it took me so long before I actually realise how to put up youtube vids here. Well I think it'll be quite some time before I know how to do this template thingy. But if any of you do know how its done, please tell me. Thanks guys.

American Idol Season 8

Kris Allen is the latest American Idol winner! I've missed a large part of this season, mainly because I have classes every wednesday. So I really didn't feel much about the entire season. But I do remember Kris quite well. In fact throughout the entire season, I can only remember 3 contestants this season. Kris Allen, Adam Lambart and that Gokey guy. The rest were pretty much forgettable for me. But I must say that Kris did not look like an Idol winner at all when I first saw him on the show. Well good luck to Kris, hopefully he'll also make it big like some of the other Idol Alumni.

Ninja Warrior

I am actually in love with this show. Its all about body power (erm maybe its like 90% arm power), I really do not know how these people mange to get through the obsticles, it is super duper difficult. And some of the contestants are already in their lates 30s, some even 40s and later than that, and they are still able to keep their bodies that lean, in that kind of shape. I hope when I'm their, I will also still look that good. Even right now, being 10~20yrs younger, my physique is no where near all of them.

Maybe its because I'm not homophobic at all, so I really think its ok for guys to admire at other guy's bodies. To me its the same as girls looking at other girls and commenting, "wah, pretty girl" or "that girl's body very nice". Girls looking at girls are a common thing, but if a guy says, "wow that guy has a great body", many people's first reaction would be - gay. I don't know if I'm part of the minority of straights out there who think this way, but to me, admiring at another guy's body is prefectly find. They also act as a motivation for me to work harder on my body (come to think of I really do need some motivation now to get back into shape). So everyone, we should really open up our minds and stop being an ass thinking that every guy who looks at another guy is gay, come on get a life. See the real world.

This is damn funny...

Japanese Library Gameshow

This is some Japanese gameshow that takes place in the library. Its damn stupid, really didn't know why I enjoyed it so much previously, haha. Well, its still entertaining but just a little dumb... lol. Japanese can really think of anything for their gameshows.

Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

This is a pretty late recommendation, but I totally love this song. Read from youtube that the official MTV has been taken down because of copyright issues. Well I got another live version that is also pretty good. Jason Mraz just rox!

Jason Mraz - I'm Yours
Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
And now I'm trying to get back
Before the cool done run out
I'll be giving it my best test
Nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love
Listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing
We're just one big family
It's your God-forsaken right to be loved love loved love loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
My breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and laughed
I guess what I'ma saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

Well no no, well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find the sky is yours
Listen to the music of the moment come and dance with me
A lá one big family (2nd time: A lá happy family; 3rd time: A lá peaceful melody)
It's your God-forsaken right to be loved love love love

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

No please, don't complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

No please, don't hesitate
No more, no more
It cannot wait
The sky is yours!

日本語Exams

Just realised that my 日本語 Exams are coming up very very soon. Hahaha. And I am totally not prepared at all... And from the looks of it I'm gonna flunk this paper, omg what am I going to do... I've already engaged my classmate next week to help give me a crash course. Actually I am not totally lost in the language. I mean I do understand what the 先生is teaching at each lesson. But I just cannot remember them the following week. So my understanding is only for that lesson. This is bad man. So what I need is really a refresher course and to really get the particles and forms into my head. Well I just hope that the crash course will work and get me through this paper. シンロンさんがんばってね。

Mango Galore

As mentioned earlier, I went over to my uncle's place to pluck some mangoes, and boy did we get mangoes. Haha. In total I think we got about 80 mangoes, in all sizes. And that is only this week, they had already started last week. I heard that they got like 73 mangoes. So that means that in all, there were over 150 mangoes, wow. But in general, the mangoes were pretty big. They are not very ripe yet, so we will still have to keep them for a week or so to ripen the mangos first before we can indulge in our mango feast. And the highlight of the day - the freaking horny dog [Max] kept humping my hand. Haha. There were so many mangos that each family could take about 20 each, haha. Had a real great time earlier with my crazy family.

Malaysia - A sensational experience

Just saw a clip on this Singapore TV show (I really haven't been watching much local TV these days), but I do think this show is quite interesting. Its about Malaysia and the hidden attractions all over Malaysia. Here's a clip on one of their advantures, hmmm, maybe I should renew the MobTV account so that I can up with some of these local productions. Who says that local TV does not have good shows... (erm only that the quantity is pretty low, haha)

Angels and Demons...

This is one show that I really want to watch.... Well the trailer does look good, seems exciting. But read a lot of critics that the show is still very Da Vin Ci Code, and not very understandable. But its ok, because I didn't watch the first movie, so I guess this should be good for me.

I can't get the trailer here because the embedding has been disabled by youtube, so here are the links to the trailer for those interested.

Bedok 85

Went out for dinner with my colleagues today, we were at Bedok 85, the market with the famous bak chor mee.... but the thing is we ate everything else but the bak chor mee... haha. Well had a good time chatting with them, and getting to know them better, and also only to find out that it is the last day of one of my colleagues. Politics and gossips are all around the office. Because of my unique position in the office, I am usually not very updated of the gossips. And there are some things that they can't say in front of me. But really it doesn't matter, they can say whatever they want, I do have the decency to know what I can tell and what I cannot. Of course there are sometimes where I do make certain misjudgements and accidently blurt out things which I should not, but most of the time I'm quite accurate, haha. Thats the biggest problem when you have a special relationship with the boss. You get cut out of many many many insiders info. And for those who know me, I thrive on gossips. I don't give a lot of gossips, but I do love to hear them and if possible bitch together with them. But I can't, haiz. That really sucks, I mean what is life without bitching. Taking out this superb fun of bitching about the boss with colleagues really takes out a lot from work.

Tonight I'm staying at home and taking a rest. But really I do need the rest. Work is really tiring. Been moving around every now and then. And of course I need the rest for tomorrow. I'll be meeting my 'boo' tomorrow night for desserts and then we're going to the SIM pub for Jansen and DY's birthday drinking session, hahaha. Yes, 5th week in a row of drinks. I really thinking my liver is going to give way any time now. Haha. Well luckily I'm not the target tomorrow. Also met Beng last night, and of course he wanted to talk to me about insurance - again. Well really I will not be getting anything new now. I've already told him that the most probable time that I will commit to something is in Aug, when I get a rise. But that also depends on how much that rise is. I do not want to be bogged down by insurance now. I have too much expenditure than to put my cash into another insurance plan. But all these insurance friends don't seem to get it that much. Well lets see how I reject him next week again. Hahaha.

Mistakes

I've been making far too many mistakes in office lately. There is a just so much to do and I can't seem to handle everything perfectly. And this is really quite bothering. I'm just not cautious enough and not meticulous in the details enough. Everytime I think that I have done all my homework, but when my boss ask me some very basic questions I stumble. Only to realise I didn't do enough research. I am pretty disturbed by this, because I really try my best to get things done correctly but there is always something missing. Damn it. I must really pull up my socks and start to do things correctly. I really want to do my job well, but I don't know what the fuck is wrong with myself. I hope this will end here, and from now on I must really look into the issues more closely and to think through the issues in far greater detail. Good luck to me.

Rabbids Go Home

What better way to increase your happiness level on your Birthday than to find out that one of the best games in the world is going to come up with another sequal. And I am talking about none other than Ravin Rabbids!!!! muahahahaha. This game is superb, I totally love it. The fucking rabbids are so irritatingly cute, you just feel like stranggling them whenever you see and hear them. And I just got word that the latest sequal - Rabbids Go Home will be out in 2009!

Visit the official webby for more information.

I've also included the trailer here... enjoy!

Birthday Blog

Sorry to myself, I narrowlly missed out on adding a post here on my own Birthday! So Happy Birthday To ME, muahahahaha. Well its that time of the year again, and you know as you grow older, you really don't need much reminder that you are slowly but surely inching your way towards the big three zero. This year's birthday was pretty much a quiet affair at home. My bro treated the whole family to dinner at this Paranakan Rest at Katong. It was very Little Nonya inspired, the food was actually pretty good, and the biggest surprise of all, was the price. It was actually not expensive. Divided by the number of people we had, each person was only less than $10. And we had meat, soup, vegs, egg and more meat. Well maybe it was lower than what I had expected.

The more exciting part of my birthday was of course with cy and gang, and where else than Lunar again for more drinks. This time, we downed 4 bottles in total, and I think there was also a jug of beer. Haha. I could only remember what happened in the beginning and what happened at the end. Whatever details in the middle is pretty much a blur. So I guess I was pretty wasted in the middle of my 'celebrations' haha. Mervin was quite an unexpected fall. At the end of it, suddenly I realise that he had KO-ed. Had a great time there, a big thank you to all these bastards, who are there to make my life so much more exciting than what it is.

Another celebration was by my office, because my boss's Birthday is also in May, so we had a celebration for his Birthday, and of course every other May baby got to be involved a little in it as well, hahaha. The boss had tricked us saying that there would be meeting, but it turned out to be KTV. Had loads of crazy fun with my colleagues. Well I guess it really did help to bond everyone much more. So the boss had his wish granted, for him, it was just like a team building exercise. So it was money well spent. Hahaha.

Lastly, I would just like to thank everyone for your well wishes. Whether it was an sms or msn or a post on Facebook/Frienster, I really thank you for remembering this special day of mine. I wish all of ya the best of health and happy always.

Hor Sua

I first saw this on Peggy's blog, which I think is super funny, they basically translated the entire umbrella song by Rihanna into a hokkien version. Enjoy!

Doomsday 2012

I heard from my friends about the predictions of another end of the world prediction about the end of the world. So curious me went to google the topic and I did find some interesting stuff online. According to some Mayan calender and Nostradamus' prediction and many other ancient predictions, it all points to 2012 as the doomsday of Earth. Some even going on to give an exact date of December 21, 2012. Whether its true or not, its up to you to decide, as of now, all predictions of the end of the world have failed, but that doesn't mean that this new prediction is absolutely out of context. Well whether it is or isn't the end of the world, life goes on now, so people, make the best of your time on Earth, you'll never know if you can still wake up to a brand new day tomorrow.

Sick

Thats me. Happy May Day to everyone.... Public holiday, at last another day off work. And I'm stuck at home because I'm sick. Damn fucked man. Was supposed to be mahjong-ing last night with cy but I just couldn't make it, I was just too tired. I practically fell asleep at 10, and this morning my head is all eavy and groggy. Hopefully it'll be better by tonight. Sianz, now I'm stuck at home for a long weekend. But I think its a good chance for me to catch some rest. The past few weeks have been pretty hectic. Going out every now and then, with saturdays practically half drunk, and sundays spent to nurse the drunk head. And not to forget I also went to Batam, plus my company function, and did I mention that I'm practically running around Singapore now to see customers. I really haven't had a good rest for quite a while. Actually I think this could also be due to exhaustion. That my body is telling me to give myself a good rest this week.

And you know what, there's another long wekend next week! Yippie!
